Adopt a Great Pyrenees (medium coat)

Great Pyrenees (medium coat) Dog

Dixie the Dog needs a home

Dixie got her name as she was a Southern girl when she came from North Carolina. She was flown up by Pilots and Paws and found a home in Maryland only to lose that home now. She was with children and a cat but no birds as she previously had killed chickens. IN all regards a wonderful dog that only wants to be loved. She doesn't chew up anything, loves her walks and hates the heat. In the winter she doesn't want to come in. She does need exercise every day as most dogs do and she does have two meals a day so one must take into account her size and the cost. She hates thunder storms as it scares her so best to be around or have a space she can go where she feels better. She will go over a fence that is 4 feet or less to get a rabbit or squirrel or stray cat. She loves being brushed and she dose need that often. She is a guard dog that needs  a home that understands taking care of her and giving her the exercise she needs to be a truly happy dog. She will repay you in a thousand ways by being the gentle love you can count on to help you through the bad times. All vetting is done and we are taking her for a swim at a doggy swim center next week so stay tuned for an update on whether she likes that or not.
